Obama's UN Speech Supported the State Dept's Benghazi Lie

Slowly the facts are coming out about what happened during the Sept 11 attack on the US Consulate in Benghazi. This attacks were initially blamed on some video that muslims rioted over because they were told by their peers that the video insulted Mohammad.

In reality, proof is coming out that the Government knew from the start that the attack on the US Consulate was a terrorist attack and not some video protest that turned tragically violent. Take a look at the following timeline, keeping in mind that right from the start, they knew this was a terrorist attack (See the full timeline here which includes numerous other instances where the video was blamed):

• Obama makes his speech at the UN

President Obama, surely knowing that this was a terrorist attack, still pushed the video lie in his speech to the United Nations.

There are no words that excuse the killing of innocents. There is no video that justifies an attack on an Embassy. There is no slander that provides an excuse for people to burn a restaurant in Lebanon, or destroy a school in Tunis, or cause death and destruction in Pakistan. - Link

President Obama's entire UN speech reinforces the lie created by Hilary Clinton and his State Department, that the deaths of 3 Americans were the result of some video that nobody saw. His UN speech only mentions terrorists once, and that is in reference to Iran. Instead, he refers to the terrorist attack on the US Consulate as some mere violent religious outrage. The President was right in that there was no video that justified an attack on a US Embassy. However, terrorists do not have to justify their actions.

Now the President's UN speech might not matter just yet, but once Congress hears evidence from Administration officials who have direct knowledge of what actually happened, everything the President, Secretary of State Clinton and other Administration officials said about this attack will become an issue. Even more so if it turns out that lies were made to protect Obama's reelection. At the very least, Obama's speech was a full two weeks after the attack. All of the relevant Administration officials would have been aware of the facts or will have been told a lie agreed upon by others high up in the Government.

This growing scandal might even bring down the Obama Administration. Even better if it ends Hilary's 2016 run for the White House. As it stands, both persons were very likely fully knowledgeable of both the facts and the lies put forward.

Petraeus Resignation Timed To Avoid 'embarrassment to the president before the election'

The story of CIA Director Petraeus's resignation gets dirtier as news leaks that Petraeus was kept in his position for months so as not to negatively impact President Obama's Reelection campaign.

Still, the White House, with concurrence by the FBI and Justice Department, held off on asking for Petraeus’ resignation until after the election. His resignation occurred three days after the election, avoiding the possibility that Obama’s ill-fated appointment of Petraeus could become an issue in the election.

FBI agents on the case were aware that such a decision had been made to hold off on forcing him out until after the election and were outraged.

“The decision was made to delay the resignation apparently to avoid potential embarrassment to the president before the election,” an FBI source says. “To leave him in such a sensitive position where he was vulnerable to potential blackmail for months compromised our security and is inexcusable.” - Powerline Blog

Heaven forbid threats to National Security get in the way of President Obama's Reelection campaign. Did they really keep him in this position for over a year knowing that he was potentially compromised. That is wholly irresponsible and a true violation of the trust of his position. Not that his supporters care.

CBS News - 'Russia reminds Obama of missile defense promise'

President Obama has done great damage to our national security in a number of ways. One way is his eagerness to trade away our strength for supposedly better relationships with the bad actors and 'Anchor Countries' of this world. Obama was caught pleading for patience from the Russians until after he was re-elected.

The controversy over the planned missile shield has strained the relations between the U.S. and Russia. Moscow has rejected Washington's assurances that the shield is intended to fend off potential missile threats from Iran and voiced concern the system could threaten Russia's nuclear deterrent.

In March, Mr. Obama, unaware that he was speaking on an open microphone, told Dmitry Medvedev, then Russian president, that he would have more flexibility on the issue after November's election.

Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin appeared to try to remind Mr. Obama of his promise when he said Thursday that Moscow hopes that the U.S. president will take into account Russia's concerns about the U.S.-led NATO missile defense for Europe. - CBS News

Limiting the effectiveness of a missile shield in Europe does nothing to help the US. It is kind of like local criminals in a high crime area complaining about increased police presence. It certainly exposes our traditional friends in Europe to the threat of a hostile Russia, a threat President Obama appears to refuse to recognize.
